The wife of the North Korean dictator, Ri Sol-Ju has not been making any public appearances for some months now. And the public is silently wondering that she is already dead. And there are a lot of rumors surrounding around the causes of her sudden disappearance from the public eye.
According to Toshimitsu Shigemura, a professor from Tokyo whose expertise is Pyongyang way of government, has told several reasons why the first lady of North Korea is missing. Here is what he had to say:
"There are several possible reasons, including that she is pregnant or that there is some sort of problem between the two of them. There have also been reports of instability in Pyongyang and even of several attempted attacks, including by factions in the North Korean military, against Kim last year."
If this is true, then Ri Sol Ju could be a vulnerable target for the North Korean government and may be kept closely guarded to avoid further instability.
But another rumor surfaces that tells of a much more sinister reason. A site reports that the public is in fear that the charming wife of the dictator may have crossed paths with Kim Jong Un's sister, who is said to possess an, even more, ruthless reputation than that of her brother?
If Ri Sol-Ju really did get into the bad side of her sister in law, then things could get dangerous for the first lady of North Korea. The same site reports that Kim Yo Jong (sister of Kim Jong Un) may even be more powerful than her brother and is secretly running things from behind the scenes.
It is truly troublesome for Ri Sol-Ju, who once had so many public appearances, being last seen seven months ago. The public fears that they may never see her again. Hopefully, she resurfaces once again, alive and well.
