Beyonce's performance at Superbowl 2013 has been one of the most talked about topics since the day it was announced. As Sunday, Feb. 3 nears, people are not only excited about the game itself, but also about the Superbowl 2013 Halftime Show.
On Twitter, Katie Couric was asked who she thought would win the Superbowl and her reply was "I don't know, Beyonce'?" Rumors have been circulating that there may even be a Destiny's Child reunion with her former group members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but recent reports give hint that a reunion may actually happen that night. One of the members of Destiny's Child, Michelle Williams is starring in the theatre production of Fela! on the evening of Feb. 3. MTV News reports that a representative from the production said in a statement, "Michelle Williams will not be appearing January 31st - 3rd."
On Wednesday, a rehearsal footage video teaser was posted on Beyoncé's official Web site. The video entitled, "Beyoncé Super Bowl Halftime Show Rehearsal: Day 1", shows her and her team of dancers practicing some new dance moves for the Superbowl 2013 Halftime Show. From the looks of the teaser, viewers can expect no less than an amazing performance from the Grammy award winning R&B diva. The video opens with the words "Countdown to Touchdown", so we expect to see a few more teasers before Sunday.
Beyoncé fans or as they are collectively known, the "Beehive" have all been abuzz today when new photos were posted on the singer's Tumblr page, showing her dressed as a football referee. Only Beyonce can manage to make a football uniform look fashionable. She's in a football player pose, wearing a striped black and white top with shorts and thigh-high Christian Louboutin leather boots. Beyoncé can be seen with an official NFL Superbowl XLVII football held closely to her chest and the singer has painted eye black stripes under her eyes. How cool is that? The photo was also spotted in some of today's newspaper ads. Another image of Beyoncé was spotted today on some of the official Superbowl 2013 tickets, most likely tickets for fans who wish to view her perform during the Superbowl 2013 Halftime Show.
