‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 10 News, Spoilers: Episode 7 BDSM Scenes Banned In The UK For Being Too Racy

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10, episode 7 proved that the show has still much to offer its viewers. Nothing seems taboo in the show and the U.K. actually banned some of its scenes for being too racy.

"The Big Bang Theory" certainly made a huge bang when some scenes in season 10, episode 7 were removed from the version aired in the U.K. In one scene, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) had a dream that he heard noises from his old bedroom. Then when he entered the room, he seemed to have walked into a scene in the "Red Room of Pain" in "Fifty Shades of Grey" and his friends Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) were having fun with the crop.

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10's Banned Scene

Episode 7 titled "The Veracity Elasticity" was still aired in the U.K. although the controversial scenes in Sheldon's dream sequence were all removed. The advertisers found the BDSM scene in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 to be "too hot," as reported by some media outlets. Leonard was wearing leather straps while handcuffed to the wall while Penny was in a dominatrix outfit that showed a lot of cleavage.

The banned scene was surrounded with much controversy not just because it was too racy but also because Cuoco and Galecki were former lovers. Some reports theorized that the scene might have been awkward for the onscreen couple given their dating history.

"The Big Bang Theory" Renewed Or Canceled?

Up until now, there has been no official word from CBS if the series will be renewed for another season or if season 10 will be the series finale. There are still persistent rumors that the renewal will push through although Cuoco will no longer be part of the show.

Another rumor surfaced that the actress plans to leave since the latest BDSM scene did not sit well with her new boyfriend Karl Cook. With so much controversy surrounding the actress, the show seems to be the subject of numerous attacks. Nonetheless, there remains to be much hope for the series since it is one of the top-rated shows on the network.

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 is currently airing every Thursday on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
