Uncharted 4 Prepares For The PlayStation 4 Pro
With the imminent launch of PS4 Pro, Naughty Dog has updated Uncharted 4 with patch 1.15. Aside from support for HDR, the update also brings improvement on the stereo audio quality. However, that is not all that is included in the patch.
The patch allows the game to be played with 4K resolution, which looks a lot better than 1080p. Players will need to have a 4K display to take advantage of this feature, though.
Uncharted 4 Classic Mode is now at the second beta test. The first one is started on Nov. 3 and ended on the weekend. The second round with different variations is set to begin on Nov. 11.
Uncharted 4 Patch 1.15 Other Updates
For the commencement of Ranked season 3, the update adds new Ranked rewards: Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Master Aviation Glasses. More on Ranked, players who enter the lobby is now unknown to the others until the match starts. Moving within a rank does not require a qualifier match anymore, but moving between ranks does.
"Players will no longer take cover on something that is fully offscreen," the patch notes read in regards to the overall gameplay changes. "This led to many situations where players accidentally became stuck to cover when attempting to roll."
Other than that, there are fixes to bugs, Cinema Mode and stability. With this, it is expected that Uncharted 4 will run more smoothly than before.
Uncharted 4 is available to play only on PS4. The new iteration of the console, PS4 Pro, is set to launch on Nov. 10 with titles optimized for its 4K feature.
