The latest product to come from Xiaomi, is the Mi Portable Mouse. A wireless Bluetooth/WiFi mouse that weighs only 77.5 grams and can connect to two devices.
The mouse, after being connected to two devices, can be easily switched between the two. Now that's something that the Apple Magic Mouse 2 does not allow. Xiaomi's Mi Portable Mouse looks like a cheaper Magic Mouse 2.
Xiaomi did something similar with their Mi Notebook Air, which looks like an Apple MacBook rip-off. The new wireless mouse will only be sold in China and costs just $15 or RMB 99.
Xiaomi Mi Portable Mouse
The Mi Portable Mouse is a cheap wireless laser mouse, but it can do something that other similarly priced mice cannot. It can connect to two separate devices using Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz WiFi adapters. This allows the user to switch between and control either of the two devices with the flick of a switch.
Xiaomi stated that the mouse will work up to a distance of 10 meters and has an accuracy of 95 percent on any flat surface. It is made using an aluminium anodized shell and uses two AA sized batteries for power.
The mouse is compatible with other products such as Mi TV, tablet devices, all smartphones and pretty much anything that supports a wireless mouse. As for OS support, the mouse will work with Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.
