Angelina Jolie has reportedly responded to Brad Pitt's latest petition for joint custody. The "Maleficent" actress is apparently irked with her soon-to-be ex-husband's request and is still pushing for a monitored visitation with their six kids.
Brangelina fans are definitely freaking out due to the intense tension brought about by both the former couple's parties in their ongoing divorce battle. As per TMZ's event breakdown, the divorce issue started in September when Jolie filed for a divorce from Pitt due to irreconcilable differences.
The couple reportedly has had problems when it comes to decisions in raising their children. Other issues were raised, one of which is Pitt's behavior and alleged relationship problems with the kids. This then led to an investigation conducted by the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services.
Since the kids are staying with Jolie during the investigation, reunions and visits are scheduled for Pitt to see them. Unfortunately, one of the meetings with his son Maddox reportedly did not turn out so well. After a month long of silence and contemplation, Pitt finally made a decision and filed for custody for all their six children on Friday, Nov. 4, as TMZ reported.
While everyone is yet waiting for an update, breaking news about Jolie's response to former husband's request has surfaced. The 41-year-old actress is said to be pushing for the initial and temporary agreement she made with Pitt while the DCFS conduct their investigation.
As rumors have it, sources claiming to be linked to Jolie say the actress won't back down and will fight to get sole physical custody over their six children. Jolie is ready to fight her estranged husband in court until the actor "gets his s--t together," the insiders told the gossip site.
Jolie also reportedly stands by her claims of Pitt having substance abuse and anger issues, thereby stalling his request. This places the actor in a very weak spot. Things may not turn out so good for Pitt with this at hand, plus the ongoing investigation on the controversial plane incident between him and their 15-year-old son, Maddox.
