‘Haikyuu!!’ Season 3 Episode 5 And 6 Spoilers: Shiratorizawa Claims Third Set; Will Hinata Win Against Ushijima?

The latest episode of the anime series adaptation, “Haikyuu!!” just aired last week and showed many of the coolest scenes in the match between Karasuno High and Shiratorizawa as both teams strive to take the next set.

“Haikyuu!!” Season 3 Episode 5 introduces Shiratorizawa’s designated setter, Kenjiro. In the last episode titled “The Halo Around The World”, Shiratorizawa lost the second set to Karasuno. After a battle of deuces, the match point was attained by Karasuno because Kenjiro set the ball a bit off causing Ushijima’s spike to be blocked by Karasuno’s Tsukishima.

After losing the second set, Shiratorizawa’s strict coach, “Tanji Washijo” calls out to Kenjiro and said, “The look on your face tells me you already know what to do.” With that, Kenjiro puts on his game face and helps Shiratorizawa win back the third set. “I will become the setter that stands out the least,” Kenjiro reminded himself.

Determination reignited, Shiratorizawa hits Karasuno hard in the third set. The attacks of the opposing team keep Karasuno from making a point or even managing to set the ball. After unleashing a series of powerful attacks that Karasuno has not seen, Shiratorizawa wins the third set easily with 25-18.

NIshinoya reveals his resiliency when he declared that he is Wakatoshi Ushijima’s equal. Karasuno levels up their blocking and receiving as they continue to mob Ushijima. Karasuno’s synchronized attack fails when Shiratorizawa’s guess monster, Satori Tendo was able to amazingly read their movements.

And then surprisingly, Hinata blocks Ushijima’s spike and tells Ushijima that he will fight. The episode ended featuring Hinata becoming a real blocker from just being a decoy.

“Haikyuu!!” Season 3 Episode 6 titled “The Chemical Change of Encounters” will be featuring Karasuno fighting through the fourth set to eventually winning it. The fifth and final set, which becomes a battle of stamina, will see the two teams vying for the last team standing. The latest episode will air this Nov. 11.
