Musician Jessica Origliasso confirmed that she and "Orange Is The New Black" star Ruby Rose have rekindled the love that they lost a couple of years ago. The Australian singer confirmed their relationship in an Australian FM radio station, following Rose's recent Instagram posts that featured sweet photos of the two.
Origliasso of The Veronicas has officially made her relationship with Rose public. She revealed intimate details of her romance with the actress in her recent interview with Nova FM's Kent 'Smallzy' Small. She admitted that The Veronicas' latest single "On Your Side" had been the reconnecting medium for the two to revive their on and off relationship. The production of the MTV of the said track heavily demanded Rose as she served as a co-writer, director, and co-star of the said video.
"It's me. Me and Ruby Rose. And it is our love story in this video," Jess can be heard saying. "We've been friends for eight years. We just reconnected over doing this video. We sort of just fell in love. It's pretty cute, honestly," she adds. The singer even went into further details of their romance which seems to be heading to a more serious level. She gushed about their romance, saying: "We support each other in our careers and we support one another and be there. It made sense to be able to come out on that level because we want to be there in each other's lives on a public level."
The interview happened a few days after the "Orange Is The New Black" actress shared a photo of them together on her Instagram. In the photo, Rose referred to Origliasso as the "most beautiful girl I've ever known and loved." The singer then reposted the picture and captioned it with another sweet message for Rose. This photo then fuelled talks among their fans. Now that the relationship of the two is confirmed, the couple is expected to update their followers with more about the run of their romance.
Rumors that surfaced back in 2008 talked about Rose and Origliasso's dating status. Fans then believed that the couple is in an on-and-off relationship, which later was speculated to be over. The singer, however, revealed that she has never lost love for Rose. She even admitted in an interview that the actress has actually remained her closeness to the Origliasso family despite the fact that they separated years ago.
"On Your Side" will feature Origliasso and Rose together with the former's twin sister. The track, which Origliasso claims to be about her and Rose's love, will be released later this week.
