‘The Fall’ Season 4 Renewal Confirmed; Major Cast Reshuffle In The Works?

There’s no stopping “The Fall” from returning to tv screens. The hit BBC crime drama is set for a new season as revealed by one of its cast members.

Lacy Moore, who played Lisa Benedetto in the third season, debunked the cancellation rumors of the series.

“It’s funny because there has been so much stuff online about it being the end of The Fall. All I know is I’m supposed to be back in series four - I have no idea why people are saying it’s the end,” Moore said.

The Irish actress also mentioned that new faces will be seen in “The Fall” season 4.

“I think they’re bringing in new characters to play the leads but I’m pretty sure they’re going forward with another season. It’s got such a massive fan base, it really is super popular, so it should go on for another series.”

Lacy appeared in HBO’s “ Game of Thrones” and plays a crucial role in the new movie “Kill Ratio” slated for release in theaters next month.

Indeed, the thriller show is destined for more action-packed scenes. To recall, series creator and writer Allan Cubitt dropped major hints about the renewal of the soap in an interview.

"Obviously I don't want to give anything away about how the third series will end but I can say that I am looking forward to working with both Gillian and Jamie again in the near future."

While there’s no confirmation yet with Jamie Dornan’s (Paul Spector) reprising his role (season 3 finale killed him), various theories lead to a major cast reshuffle. It is presumed that Stella Gibson’s past relationship with Jim Burns (John Lynch) will be explored and that Katie Benedetto's (Aisling Franciosi) obsession with Paul might transform her to be the show’s new serial killer.
