Niantic had been releasing a string of both minor and major updates for Pokémon GO in the past weeks. The latest update rolled out on iOs and Android phones this week leaked the most exciting news by far. The said leak reveal 100 additional species more to catch in Pokémon GO Gen 2 very soon.
Pokémon GO - 100 New Pokémon Teased
With the leak that Niantic will soon be releasing 100 more Pokémon, the information however did not come with details as to when the developer will drop it. According to a report though, "it shouldn't be too long" for trainers to wait for these species since they are already on Niantic's website. Get to know 10 of them here.
Pokémon GO - Chikorita & Cyndaquil
Chikorita is a grass-type species that waves its leaf around to corner an opponent. A sweet fragrance however puffs from the leaf which creates a friendly ambience, chill down even the opponent. Its weaknesses include bug, fire, flying, ice and poison Pokémon. On the other hand, Cyndaquil is a fire-type species that protects itself by igniting the fire on its back. The fire gets enormous when Cyandiquil gets more furious. If it's worn-out however, the flame dies down. Its weaknesses are ground, rock and water-type Pokémon.
Pokémon GO - Mareep & Wooper
Mareep is an electric-type species that uses its fluffy coat to wool to build static charge. The more static electricity is charged, the more glowing the light bulb at its tail. Its weaknesses are ground-type Pokémon. Meanwhile, Wooper is a water and ground-type species that lives in swamps but comes out onto land to find food. Its weakness is grass-type Pokémon.
Pokémon GO - Scizor & Octillery
Scizor is bug and steel-type species which cannot be easily taken down by mere attacks. It flaps its wings to normalize it body temperature. Its weakness is fire-type Pokémon. In the meantime, Octillery is a water-type Pokémon that uses its tentacles to seize foe, or spits ink on it to escape if it is too strong to be defeated. Its weaknesses are electric and grass-type Pokémon.

Kingdra is a water and dragon-type Pokémon that lives in the depths of the ocean. Yawning makes a wave of ocean currents. Its weaknesses are dragon and fairy-type Pokémon. On the other hand, Stantler is a normal-type species whose antlers are most sought-after for their value. Its weakness if fighting-type Pokémon.
Pokémon GO - Miltank & Ho-oh
Miltank is a normal-type species that produces gallons of milk each day. Its weakness is fighting-type Pokémon. Meanwhile, Ho-oh is a fire and flying-type species whose feathers beams seven colors when strategically struck by light. Its weakness is rock, electric and water-type Pokémon.
