Google's 2016 Gmail VS Yahoo's 2016 Yahoo Mail: Which Is Better?

Google's Gmail and Yahoo's Yahoo Mail has always been one of the most commonly used email addresses used by people. With Google's Gmail and Yahoo's Yahoo Mail getting a revamp this year, people are wondering which has the best features. Here are some things you need to know about its new upgrades:

Google's Gmail

According to a written article at Tech Times, Google is planning to bring up a number of improvements to its Gmail app for iOS. The upgrades are major cosmetics touch-ups, speed improvements and new features requested by many iOS users for quite a while now.

In the same article, Matthew Izatt, product manager for Google wrote in a blog post, "With the new app, getting things done on the go is a lot easier - whether you're trying to find a message your colleague sent you last month or trying to get through your work inbox on a Monday morning," writes Matthew Izatt, product manager for google, in a blog post." Now let's discuss the difference between Gmail and Yahoo Mail.

Gmail's new look for iOS

The new app is said to feature a sleeker transition. The new look will make Gmail perform like a sophisticated migration of Gmail's main web version instead of an underpowered and hiccup offspring.

It also said that the new app won't have any major redesigns in terms of color schemes. So yeah, it still is predominantly themed with the red color. However, the new cosmetic touch-ups are anchored greatly for improved user experience alongside snappy and fluid elements that users won't feel any sense of clumsiness compare to the previous version of the Gmail app.

Undo Send option

How many times have you accidentally sent a wrong message to someone and wished you could take it back? Yeah, we've all been there, desperately trying to explain the misunderstanding and wishing you had a time machine. To some people, they delete the sent message just to pretend like it never even happened.

Google has now created a time machine - I mean an Undo Send feature. Google will show you a tiny window during which you may undo the message. But there is a catch. Once you passed that tiny window, there is no going back.

Swipe To Delete option

With the internet making the world smaller and letting us communicating to the world in an instant, we are bombarded with many important emails every day. In the new app, having to delete and sort emails has gotten quicker with an improved search function that brings instant results and spelling suggestions.

Yahoo's Yahoo Mail

The article at Gadgets.NDTV states, Yahoo Mail's new updates for iOS and Android mobile platforms are focused on allowing users to add a personal touch to their inbox. There are also other features listed.

Undo Send option

Just like Gmail, Yahoo also features this option for accidentally sending those furiously half-hearted notes to someone in your past or a typo-laden email that you will haunt you forever. With the Yahoo Mail, no tiny box will appear. Instead, after pressing send, and the option to Undo will appear at the bottom of your inbox feed that will only last for 3 seconds.

Yahoo with Xobni technology

This is somehow similar with Gmail's Swipe To Delete option. However, in this case, instead of searching for emails, this feature lets you search for a person.

Stationery feature

This feature is said to allow you to add an extra touch to your emails. So sending a birthday wish or thank you letter to someone you hold dear in your life makes it a little more special.
