WWE Smackdown and its roster took its talents to Glasgow Scotland and they brought the house down. The hungry and animated crowd welcomed The Blue Brand with a bang.
There's a lot of reasons why Smackdown is ahead right now when it comes to ratings versus his rival Monday Night Raw. The Red Brand has an amazing pool of talents and might have the most numbers of wrestlers who held the World Heavyweight Gold. But no mistake about it, as Smackdown Live is literally beating RAW to the punch.
The Women of Smackdown Showcased Their Talent In Glasgow
There are a lot of matches and storylines involved in last week's Smackdown. We saw the tension boiling between Smackdown Live Women's Champion Becky Lynch versus the very aggressive Alexa Bliss. Also, they've featured Naomi and Natalya, these two wonderful ladies has an ongoing issue and they finally resolved it in the ring.
The Tag Team Division Is Heating Up
With a potential spot on Survivor Series on the line, BreeZango took matters in their own hands as the dismantled The Vaudevillains with Fandago's Falcon Arrow on Aiden English. Although the Vaudevillains are a great heel, it was actually a great move to book BreeZango on Survivor Series to make it more appealing.
The Lone Wolf Is Out
Baron Corbin is hard to work with as shown in many occasions. The last episode of Smackdown showed that he doesn't even listen to the prodigal Son of the CEO Shane McMahon. Shane was trying make sure that Team Smackdown will be intact before they face a hungry and motivated Team Red. Unfortunately, Corbin was injured when he fell off to the ring apron. The referee checked its condition and apparently it is a knee injury. His Survivor Series status right now is yet unknown.
Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper And Randy Orton Def. Dean Ambrose, Kane And James Ellsworth
The goold old 3-on-3 match. Well, this match didn't live up to its expectation as it failed miserably. A lot of talents are there in the ring but the comedic presence of James Ellsworth just killed the buzz. I understand that WWE stands for entertainment but this is getting absurd already. Why can't they put Jack Swagger on that match instead of Ellsworth. Also, James received an awesome news as he is now part of Team Blue in Survivor Series. He will be the mascot who will carry The Blue Brands flag.
Apollo Crews vs Curt Hawkins
Are you serious? After countless interference and cameo appearance, Curt Hawkins made his in ring debut after returning to Smackdown. Was the match good? Does he have ring rust? First of, I didn't even find the match entertaining. If there was a skip button on the remote, I would have done that. That's how bad the match was. Hawkins came out as the winner when he cheated his way by grabbing a handful of tights.
The Last Member Of Team Smackdown
Due to the injury sustained by Baron Corbin, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan are now looking for a worthy replacement. There are a couple of superstars in Smackdown that deserves the position but right now, they are leaning towards Kane and James Ellsworth; which will totally suck if you are going to check the five-man of Monday Night Raw.
