According to Phandroid, it becomes official now that OnePlus is rolling out its widely speculated OnePlus 3T mobile device on November 15. The company announced on Twitter that the new handset will be featuring the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 2.35GHz processor used by Google in its Pixel mobile phones. The Verge reports rumors that suggest the OnePlus 3T will feature an AMOLED screen instead of LCD, as well as Daydream support. Previous rumors have claimed that the company has switched away from AMOLED because of supply shortage.
According to Tech Times, OnePlus' announcement on Twitter was accompanied by a 15-second teaser trailer. What's interesting is the fact that both of these materials included a reference to a mysterious T-7. Tech analysts believe that this could actually be included in the new device's name.
According to Tech Crunch, the T-7 could also mean that the upcoming smartphone falls within the OnePlus flagship category. This code could be indicative of more computing power and an updated version.
