Pokemon GO players will encounter some problem in the game every now and then. Here are some of the most common issues in the game and how to resolve them.
What To Do if The Pokemon Go Progress Has Been Reset
This particular problem is encountered more often by iOS device users than Android users. Niantic advises players to log out of their accounts and then go to Apple's Safari browser. Go to the Google account to log out of there, too. Afterwards, go back to Google and log in using the same email that you first registered with Pokemon GO. Go back to the game and log in again which should restore your progress.
Unable To Run Pokemon GO With Smartphone
It is important to note that not all smartphones can run Pokemon GO. Those who have an iPhone should at least have an iPhone 5 running an iOS 8 or a later version. The minimum Android OS requirement is a Kitkat 4.4 version and screen resolution of 1280 x 720p.
Losing GPS Signal
Losing GPS signal while Pokemon GO could be real hassle but there is a fix for that. Android device users will need to swipe down from their phone's top screen to access the quick settings. If the user finds that the Location icon is in gray, simply tap to turn it on. This will allow the device to look for a GPS signal. iOS device users can go to their phone's settings to tap Privacy then tap Location Services and tap the toggle switch to green.
Make sure that Wi-Fi icon is on even when you are using data connection for Pokemon GO. If that doesn't help, quit the game and then restart afterwards. Users can also restart their phone if the GPS signal still does not come back. These are just a handful of the common issues in Pokemon GO. More fixes will be revealed soon in the coming days.
