Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has more than what meets the eye. There have been some hidden features discovered lately that Bandai Namco never told you, most of them are very useful. Here are the hidden features and mechanics you should know by now on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 - Character Creation
For character creation, it has been unknown for many players that changing height and body type of a character affects the stats. Height in particular affects strength and speed. That is, a taller character has more health and less speed, while shorter character more speed and less health. On the other hand, body type is more crucial compared to height as it affects damage. Skinnier character does more damage with Ki blast supers, while bulkier character does more damage with strike supers and basic attacks.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 - What To Do When The Enemy Breaks Your Stamina
Another tip you should know by now relates to stamina during Parallel Quests. Many players have been complaining about the AI of the game because when you fight the enemy and he's breaking your stamina, your allies just don't do anything. What you need to do in this case is to target the person you want them to attack. This sends the signal to your allies that you need their help so they would start fighting against the enemy.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 - Stamina Recovery
Next hidden mechanic relates to stamina recovery which is very useful. Is it unknown to many that recovering your stamina from the ground is actually three times faster than while you are hovering around.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 - Double Tap
Another little feature hidden is related to double tapping the send button. Doing this makes your character ascend faster than expected.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 - Super Saiyan
When you do a full charge Kamehameha or any chargeable attack on Super Saiyan mode, you will be able to teleport right in front of your opponent. Even if you spawn right behind them, your attack should hit them on their face. Take note that it only works in Super Saiyan form.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC worldwide.
