'Orange Is The New Black' Season 5 Spoilers: Officer Humphrey Dies In Episode 1? Miss Claudette Returns?

As fans await the release of "Orange is the New Black" Season 5, spoilers about the upcoming season started circulating online. This includes Officer Humphrey's untimely death and the possibility of Miss Claudette's return so someone can truly help the inmates cope up with their problems and depressions.

In the last season of "Orange is the New Black," Officer Humphrey's life was in danger as Hispanic inmates threaten her life. Daya is the one holding the gun while the rest of the inmate push her to kill him. It can be remembered how Officer Humphrey made Maritza play out a scenario just like in her game which includes a cup with a small mouse and a napkin full of dead flies.

More and more inmates got transferred in the SHU including Nicky, Taslitz, and Carlin. With so many of them in the SHU, it is expected that there wouldn't be enough space for everyone. This started speculations of Miss Claudette's return in 'Orange is the New Black' Season 5 who is one of the few people who genuinely wants to see them be better. Her return will definitely influence more inmates to start working on what's really important rather than getting involved with the mischiefs inside the prison.

Fans are also hoping Laverne Cox aka Sophia will come back in 'Orange is the New Black' Season 5 and finally be a series regular. She was mostly absent in Season 4 which made fans miss her more. She is one of the main characters in Season 1 and one of the first to get a backstory episode. Many of the series cast has already been given raise after the first season so fans are also expecting the same thing to happen to Cox as she really deserves it.

'Orange is the New Black' Season 5 release date has not yet been announced but it is assumed that it would be sometime in June next year just like the release dates of the first four seasons of the series.
