LA Auto Show 2016 Update: SUVs Set As Stars Of The Event

With gas prices at an all-time low and SUV demands at an all-time high, there is no better place to make a statement than in the upcoming 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. With the event closing in real fast, SUVs of all kinds are being prepared as they are set to be the stars of the upcoming event. Alfa Romero, Jeep and Mini are only among the top picks that attendees can look forward to in a few days.

Alfa Romeo

Detroit Free Press reported that one of the most anticipated SUV debut is the first SUV from Alfa Romeo. Although little is known about the details of the vehicle, people can expect the automaker to deliver something with powerful engines.

Jeep

Jeep is also set to show-off its new model of Compass that has a look similar to the Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was mentioned in the report from USA Today that the new model of Jeep Compass is expected to have off-road capacities enough to entice Jeep enthusiasts.

Mini

Despite the name, Mini is categorized under "bigger" with its Mini Countryman SUV, the biggest vehicle in the Mini brand so far. Mini's new SUV model is said to have more room and power than the previous ones and a plug-in hybrid model will also be offered.

Subaru

USA Today reported that Subaru will also be joining the bandwagon with a concept vehicle has three rows of seats. Although the name of the vehicle has not yet been given, it is expected to be similar in the lineup that the automaker currently has.

Volkswagen Group

The Atlas, Q5 midsize SUV's redo version from Audi luxury brand of Volkswagen is also set to make its debut at the LA Auto Show. Detroit Free Press reported that this vehicle, set to be on the market next spring allows the German automaker to be able to compete in the U.S auto market.

Others

Other big automakers such as Volvo, Toyota, Ford, Mitsubishi and Land Rover are also going to showcase their finest creations at the 2016 LA Auto Show. The event will be on Nov. 18-27 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
