‘Outlander’ Season 3 New Cast Reveals Young Jamie; Dunsany Sisters To Play Warm, Cranky Roles

The “Outlander” season 3 proves that major changes are in the works. Latest updates about the popular series reveal new faces that joined the cast.

A report noted that actor Conor McCarry who played roles in “The Night Manager” and “Anna Karenina” nabbed the slot as the young adult Jamie. Young Jamie, named after his uncle Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) is the eldest son of Jenny Fraser (Laura Donnelly) and Ian Murray (Steven Cree), and will acquire the Lallybroch estate.

Diana Gabaldon’s “Voyager” novel has young Jamie and young Ian (John Bell)’s significant adventures. Their journey is said to have crucial effects on Ian’s life and his family.

Aside from McCarry, the Dunsany sisters will be introduced in the latest installment of-of the historical drama. “Mercy Street’s” Hannah James will play Geneva, while “Fanny Lye Deliver’d” Tanya Reynolds will be Isobel.

Geneva, the older sister, is described as being “as beautiful as she is headstrong.” Her being demanding on things that she wants to be rooted from her comfortable life. Isobel, on the other hand, is simpler than her sister and displays compassion and kindness to others.

It looks like a stunning third season of “Outlander” is set to wow its audience real soon.

Adding more to the excitement is Caitriona Balfe’s (Claire Randall) promise of more intimate scenes in the forthcoming chapter of the science fiction show.

“There will be some other sex going on. I think to really let the reunion and everything that’s going to happen once Jamie and Claire see each other, I think it’s really special. Maybe they’ll have to wait a little bit, but I don’t think it’s going to be as scarce as last season, shall we say?” Caitriona said in an interview.

Jamie and Claire are slated to see each other again and is likely to rekindle their romance. Theirs is a love story that earned strong followers aside from the beautiful plot of the soap.
