Dishonored 2 has provided both Emily and Corvo unique power and abilities to annihilate their enemies, go around undetected, and eventually gain victory. Aside from this, there are Dishonored 2 tricks that have yet to be discovered by players as they progress in the game. One of these recently discovered tricks is how to survive a fall without sustaining any damage.
Dishonored 2 Corvo and Emily might have powerful abilities but they still get hurt and die. Just like in real life when you fall down from a very high place, Emily and Corvo's health points get affected when they get injured or have damage. For Emily's part, there is a trick that can prevent that from happening.
The Dishonored 2 trick was discovered by Gunpoint developer Tom Francis while he was playing the game. He tweeted it immediately after he discovered it as he was very happy to find about it so suddenly. The trick involved using Emily's ability called the Doppelganger, which allows her to create several clones of herself. One of the main use of the ability is for distracting enemies by creating a clone and setting it as a decoy. While the enemies are fighting with the clone or clones, Emily can focus on completing her mission. But the new trick found another use of the Doppelganger.
In case you fell down from a high building while scaling a wall or traversing the roofs, you can conjure up the Doppelganger and use the clone as your crashpad when you fall down. The clone will die, of course, but that will leave you still intact and without any damage.
Francis also suggested driving a dagger into the clone's throat after you make your landing. This is to make sure the Dishonored 2 Doppelganger is dead and won't be an unnecessary nuisance just in case it did not die from Emily's weight.
