Pokemon GO Spawn Rates Increased To A Maximum Of One Hour

One of the coolest things about the Halloween event in Pokemon GO was the spawn rates. At that time, Pokemon's -- particularly those who fit the theme -- spawn rate were increased significantly. Obviously, this made all players happy, as they keep on getting creatures after creatures. However, when the event ended, everything went back to normal. But hey, it seems Niantic has noticed it all. A new update has made it possible -- for real!

According to Mic, the latest Pokemon GO update has granted the wish of every trainer out there. Now, the spawn rates of Pokemon in the game are increased. So, in a sense, it means that players can expect more Pokemon to surface out of nowhere.

This change is really significant to Pokemon GO as a whole. From now on, players can expect the species to not disappear quickly. From a frustrating interval of 15 minutes or so, Pokemon will now spawn and stay for even up to an hour. This is really a great addition to the game.

If players are able to notice a Pokemon GO creature -- most especially a rare one -- they don't have to jump on it right way hoping that it'll not disappear in a blink of an eye. The newest update has changed it all. This will also give players enough window to prepare their catching strategy, so they can ensure their catch.

Let's take for example Lapras, one of the most popular Pokemon GO monsters in the game. As noted by The Silph Road (a well-known community in Reddit), there's a large interval between the time the creature spawn and despawn. This alone proves that Niantic is really listening to the community.

The aforesaid data from the Pokemon GO community was noticed by a user named Koerrie. The information was acquired in Belgium and was based on an approximate spawn points of 7,087 -- all of which are unique to each other. Of all these points, a whopping 6,387 points are deemed to be a spawn rate of 30 minutes. The remaining number (700) is synonymous to an hour of spawn. If there's truth to this, it's safe to say that the usual 15-minute spawn rate has been removed, as far as the recent update is concerned.

If this is the case, Pokemon GO players will really have a simpler means of catching Pokemon. Everything just becomes smooth and fast. Let alone the fact that there's no need to hasten things up. That's because players aren't limited to the 15-minute window, giving them enough time to capture creatures.

Koerrie noted, however, that the Pokemon GO data acquired could be different in various places. That the figure he revealed might not be the same to the ones located in the other side of the world. In general, however, he can confirm that Niantic did make some changes to the spawn rates. Nonetheless, players (at least on Reddit) are commenting the same experience on his post.

What are your thoughts on Niantic increasing the spawn rates in Pokemon GO? Have you noticed the change too? If so, how was the experience? Be sure to share us what you're thinking at the comment section below!
