Nintendo 3DS Dragon Ball Fusion Gears Up For An Early Release; Game To Hit Stores This Month

A new Dragon Ball RPG will be hitting the Nintendo 3DS platform soon. The game that was revealed in Japan last Oct. 4 will be coined as Dragon Ball: Project Fusion.

Dragon Ball Fusion To Reveal Upgraded Characters

The leaked drawings of the game, showing both Goku and Broly performing a fusion, provide clues about the concept of the Project Fusion gameplay. It is suggested that the idea revolves on character fusions, which mean that most players could produce new upgraded heroes.

To those who do not know, fusion is the process of merging separate characters into one, combining their attributes, strength, speed and wisdom. In "Dragon Ball," there are seven types of fusions namely: Namekian, Fusion Dance, Potara Earrings, Ex-Fusion, Absorption, Machine Mutant and Hypothetical Fusion. Each has different ways of combining both characters into one.

Other Things To Expect In Dragon Ball Fusion

Dragon Ball Fusion is the latest Dragon Ball experience for Nintendo 3DS. It is an RPG action game that combines fighting, character customization and collecting elements to bring the Dragon Ball to the next level. The upcoming game will feature a huge character roster from "Dragon Ball."

There are five features to be included in the game such as a unique avatar, flying to the Dragon Ball Island to discover new missions and gathering the strongest fighters for possible fusions to create ultimate characters. More so, a deeper story analogy as the game progresses and "photo fusions" allowing users to take pictures with friends and fuse them into a Dragon Ball character are also underway.

Unlike most of its previous games, Bandai Namco announced that the Dragon Ball Fusion will be hitting store shelves earlier than expected. Its original launch was scheduled in December but it will now be launching on Nov. 22 in North America and a little bit later in Europe on Feb. 2017.
