"Grey's Anatomy" season 12, episode 9 reveals that Alex Karev is off to the hearing about his case, and according to latest spoilers he has a big announcement to make. Could this be about his resignation from Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital?
Alex's Case Hearing
"Grey's Anatomy" season 13, episode 9 titled "You Haven't Done Nothin'" might be the last episode this year and it feels like showrunners are up for an unexpected cliffhanger. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) could be heading to jail in the episode after the court hearing with regard to his alleged beating of Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti).
The official preview of the episode shows the conversation of Alex and Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) where the latter hinted he "will be destroyed." Alex knows that the court convinces Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington) to testify but it seems like she still has her reservations despite what Alex did. On the other hand, Jo finally reveals to Alex that she is married.
Alex's Life-Changing Decision
In the meantime, Alex has been spoiled to make a life-changing decision. Could this be about his resignation from the hospital? There have been no concrete details about this, but rumors have it that being jailed might be the departing scene for Chambers' character from the show. If Chambers is indeed leaving anytime soon, then he should also be back later on knowing that his character will never meet his demise. Even so, fans have to take this information with a grain of salt.
As for other spoilers, Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital will be tested once again as a massive influx of patients is set to happen following a building collapse. Amid the commotion, Richard Webber (James Pickens, Jr.) questions Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) over Eliza Minnick (Marika Dominczyk) being at the hospital.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 12, episode 9 airs Thursday, Nov. 17 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
