The latest news about the "Star Wars" movie franchise will get the fans excited. It appears that the upcoming "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" will unveil some of the clues and mysteries of the movie prequels. There are so many stories to tell that Star War fans will never have enough of them.
What Happened During The Early Days Of The Rebellion?
Fans have already enjoyed seven series of the "Star Wars" movie franchise. But they still don't know much about how the rebellion started. Thankfully, "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" will bring much of the clues and mysteries out in the open.
There is a new book that traces the events before Rogue One. This book gives some clues as to how the Rebellion can be traced back to the Separatists. This group was the one who started the clone wars.
A new novel, "Star Wars: Catalyst - A Rogue One Story," written by James Luceno, begins right after The Clone Wars started. Luceno is a veteran "Star Wars" author. The novel has some new characters in it. Galen Erso is among these new characters. Mads Mikkelsen plays this character in the upcoming movie.
In an interview with The Verge, Luceno said that Galen's daughter will join the Separatists who were already fighting the Republic. When the war ended, the Republic promised them many things which were not fulfilled. That planted the seeds of the Rebellion.
Here Are Some Clues From The Prequel Book
Luceno's book will be released this week. It serves as a direct prequel to the "Rogue One." The scene on the last page of the book essentially leads the reader to the first flashback scenes of the movie.
The main character in "Rogue One," Jyn Erso, is mentioned infrequently in the novel. She was pictured as a baby, growing up as a toddler with Galen, her father watching over her. He calls her "stardust" because her eyes have flecks. The book is about the story of Erso's parents and how they came to be the adversaries of Orson Krennic, the "Rogue One" primary villain.
