According to IGN, Capcom has explained to the fans of Dead Rising 4 that the storyline focuses on Frank West, so a multiplayer mode integrated into the campaign will not do well. This means that the game will be entirely just a single player game. The developer wanted to focus on how West can survive in the world full of zombies.
However, there will be a separate Dead Rising 4 co-op mode that will involve four players inside the mall. The campaign is inspired by the original Infinity mode of the game. David McAnerin, a producer of the game, explained that the game is better when it just revolves around West's missions and survival.
The co-op campaign will give the players the chance to relive the old games again. Also, the mode will start in a safehouse and the players need to buy weapons and prepare for a thrilling adventure especially when a door becomes unlocked.
The co-op campaign will be available online, according to Destructoid. Hopefully, fans will not get disappointed by the decision of Capcom to remove the campaign from the game since everyone is excited about the new story of Frank West.

The latest trailer of Dead Rising 4 revealed Killer Santa Claus and horrific bosses. The trailer also revealed the new name for zombies that will be called Maniacs. In the previous installment of the game, the zombies are called Psychopaths.
In Dead Rising 4, the players must explore the area in order to locate the Maniacs. Also, he needs to discover and unravel the clues. When the players are successful in following the survival tips, they can face the zombies and stay alive.
