Samsung Launches Galaxy Camera Wi-Fi, Runs Android 4.1 Jellybean

Samsung Electronics launched its Samsung Galaxy Camera Wi-Fi on Tuesday, Feb. 19, a follow-up to the original Galaxy Camera. The camera enables users to take high-quality photos and runs the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

The addition of the dual band Wi-Fi connectivity feature makes shooting, sharing and editing images easy to manage. A built-in quad-core processor allows fast browsing of the Web and high-speed image processing without having to worry about draining the battery.

Directly from the camera, users can share photos with friends and family through email using the Wi-Fi feature or they may upload photos to social networks. Photos may be uploaded to cloud services when connected to the Internet, a bonus that makes it easier to clear the camera's storage.

Simple, comfortable and compact design meets outstanding hardware along with 1 6.3 megapixels and a 21x Super Long zoom lens. A 4.8-inch HD Super Clear Touch Display makes editing easy. Photo Wizard and Video Editor are preloaded onto the Galaxy Wi-Fi for a choice of photo and video editing programs that allow the user to edit right in the camera.

The Galaxy Camera Wi-Fi combines the familiarity of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with the ability to take advanced, professional-looking photos. With over 700,000 apps to choose from, users can customize by downloading apps from the Google Play store.

Affordably priced, the Galaxy Camera Wi-Fi has all of the innovative features found in the first Galaxy Camera, without the 3G/4G connection capability. For users who do not need to be constantly connected to a network, the Galaxy Camera Wi-Fi is a practical, suitable choice.
