It has been confirmed that the reality series sequel “Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After” is still happening. Although the couple has called off the wedding, they have not broken up and is still going strong. According to Lauren, she doesn’t mind giving Ben more time before the wedding if that’s what he needs.
In fact on the day when the tabloids headlined their break up due to the postponed wedding, “We are together, happier than ever — no plans to break up!” Ben said. He shares that they’re happy where they are right now and it has never been better.
Rumors of a breakup started when Ben said he wanted to call off the wedding in the latest episode of the series. Ben believes there are so many things that need to be settled out so “it's hard for me at this point to really feel comfortable getting married," Things happened too fast according to Ben. And as he explains his decision to Lauren, it’s obvious that he’s getting teary eyed.
As for Lauren, she confirmed in an interview that the wedding is really off. She explains that if her husband needs more time to be good with the idea of the wedding then he should have it. “in the end, it won't matter if this wedding's a little bit later." She added. Ben feels like they just knew each other, then suddenly they got engaged and now they’re getting married. But now it's time not to rush anything else." Ben said.
It can be remembered that Ben and Lauren got engaged in the finale of their show. The episode was watched by millions of viewers wherein he got her a 4.6-carat, platinum square-cut halo-style diamond engagement ring. Statistics show that only 3 of 20 couples from “the Bachelor” and 5 out of the 12 “the Bachelorette” make it until today.
