Why It's The Best Time To Buy A PS4 Or An Xbox Now

If you've been thinking about buying either a PS4 or an Xbox One, now is the right time to do that. For one, the price of both consoles is reasonable than ever, even if it's not Black Friday sale. Here are three more reasons why it's the right time to buy now.

The Price is Reasonable

When PlayStation 4 was first released, it cost $400 while Xbox One was $500. Now, however, both consoles are priced at $300. Moreover, that's the price of each console which is bundled with your favorite game. The PS4 bundle pack gives you a free Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" game while the Xbox One bundle has "Gears of War 4."

Smaller and More Efficient

Compared to the first time they were released, both consoles have undergone some redesign and improvement.

Xbox one became Xbox One S and is slicker, smaller, and more powerful than its predecessor. Moreover, it has HDR gaming and can stream 4K videos. The PS4, for its part, also got a makeover with rounded edges and a slimmer body although it has the same functionality as the original one.

Redesign has become part of the game hardware and usually happens in the middle of the cycle, even Xbox 360 got its own makeover twice. This practice is meant to boost the sales by applying some improvements in their performance. Thus, it's a win-win situation for both producer and consumer.

More Game Titles to Choose From

Both consoles have hundreds of game titles which run on their platform. There are exclusive titles but most of them are available on both Xbox One and PS4. Some of these games are Titanfall 2, Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and DOOM.

The Choice

So which one would you choose? That depends on your preference, of course. Each of these consoles has their own good points and bad points. But if we want to be biased about it, we'd go for Xbox simply because of one feature: backward compatibility.
