Infinity Ward has released the patch notes for the latest update on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The patch notes highlight all the details regarding the changes made on each area of the newest title which include both Multiplayer and Zombies in Spaceland modes.
According to the report from Game Rant, players will notice several items that have been added on the Multiplayer mode, such as Hardcore Kill Confirmed, Hardcore Free for All and Infected. Aside from the series of bug fixes and new additions, the attempt to balance the overpowered Volk rifle might be the most important change made in the Multiplayer mode
Based on the report, players will now notice the reduced effect of the Volk rifle after the update. Volk has been nerfed due to some players complaining that the weapon possesses an enormous power which destroys the balance amongst other weapons. As noted, Infinity Ward has reduced the damage range and its hip fire accuracy and it will give players more recoils whenever they will aim down with the weapon. These changes would make Volk a rational weapon in online arenas.
On the other hand, Infinity Ward also made changes to the Zombies in Spaceland mode. However, it was noted that most of the changes made in the mode are mostly bug fixes. In addition, the developer is also aiming for an easier gameplay for those players who prefer to fight zombies as a lone wolf.
The update also revealed that players will no longer lose the round if they are knocked down when David Hasselhoff is active. For those who are unfamiliar, the celebrity can be summoned from above by completing the challenges for the N3IL robot. The said character will assist characters in killing zombies for a limited time before heading towards the space once again.
Overall, Infinity Ward did all their efforts to make the latest title successful in many ways and these updates are the key to that success. Meanwhile, check the full patch notes of the latest Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare update here.
