Watch Dogs 2 Launch Sales Not Even Close To The Original; Here's Why

Watch Dogs 2 definitely hit the charts as one of the bestseller games today, but it does not beat Watch Dogs's numbers. Rumors said that fans might have seen some problems right even before the game was released. It may be because of game demos having some glitch, as well as the big Seamless multiplayer problem. Things like this will definitely affect the sale of the game, but it does not mean that the game is bad. Players might just want to make sure that it is worth buying before plunging into Watch Dogs 2.

Watch Dogs 2 Far From The Launch Sale Of Watch Dogs

Watch Dogs 2's launch sales was just at about 80,000 units, while Watch Dogs has over 380,000 units sold during launch. Rumors suggest that the game is already known for the Hacking-GTA-like genre. Due to this, fans were not really that excited for the sequel of the game, as it might just offer the same gameplay. The other reasons are the bugs and problems encountered right before the game was released.

Ubisoft disabling the Seamless multiplayer is also one of the big reasons why. As of now, there is no fix for the Seamless online multiplayer, which makes the fans get bored with the game. Fans seeing an early patch for some bugs and improvements are a good thing, but it also worries the fans as the game seems to be not completed.

Watch Dogs 2 Seamless Online Multiplayer Problem Affects A Lot Of Fans Today

Until now, seamless multiplayer has no fix. It definitely affected the sale of the game, as Ubisoft disabled it right before the game was released. Due to it, many fans got worried for their money, whether it is going to be worth spending or not. However, it is already expected by many that the game sequel of Watch Dogs will not sell that much. Even so, it is still a great game, joining up the ranks of the best games today.

Watch Dogs 2 is available to play on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version follows on Nov. 29.
