For those who weren't able to watch Survivor Series yesterday, specifically Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar, then you have two minutes to do it. That's right; it took less than two minutes for Goldberg to destroy Brock Lesnar.
The History Before The Match
The rivalry and history between these two behemoths are complete. The last time they went toe to toe in the ring was 12 years ago, back when F.R.I.E.N.D.S TV series was still on. Brock Lesnar walked away from WWE to pursue his other goals. During his hiatus in WWE, he made a name for himself and became the UFC Heavyweight Champion. He was the biggest draw in UFC and he made the company more famous.
On the other end, Goldberg pursues his acting and hosting career. He has a total of eight movies under his belt after his WWE life. He's character in the movie; The Longest Yard is still talking about, same with Half Past Dead 2. He tried hosting as well and he was very successful. He hosted three shows and all of them were definitely awesome, specially Biker Build-Off.
The Match That Made The WWE Universe Unglued
After months of speculations and hype, the two juggernauts finally face each other. Brock Lesnar was the first entrant and looks focus. Goldberg on the other hand, was very electrifying and ferocious when he was on his way to the ring. A lot of Goldberg chants and fans present at the Air Canada Center. Then, the fight started. Brock made his move and carry Goldberg on his shoulders pinning him on the turnbuckle. Goldberg retaliated by pushing Brock Lesnar to the ground.
Brock Lesnar was stunned and remained sitting on the mat for a couple of seconds. He looks to Paul Heyman for direction but even the greatest manager(arguably) of all time was shocked. Goldberg wasted no time as he delivered a vicious spear which nails Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate was visibly hurt and Goldberg grabs the chance to hit him again with a thunderous spear. Lesnar, at this time can't get up. Goldberg seizes the moment and deliver his famous finisher, the jack hammer. The rest was history, as Goldberg is triumphant in his in-ring return.
What's Next?
Remember when Goldberg mentioned that this would be his last match in WWE? Apparently, this is not the case, as one of the respected sites reported that he already signed another contract to fight in Royal Rumble. This will be the second appearance of Goldberg in his illustrious career. Some of the credible sources say that he is the frontrunner when it comes to winning the rumble. WWE Creative is trying to push Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg as the main event in next year's Wrestlemania. That means, Brock Lesnar will be the WWE Universal Champion sooner or later.
Although these are just mere speculations at this time, we all know that this is not the end for Brock and Goldberg. The only superstar who has a multiple win record against The Beast Incarnate is, none other than, the soon to be 16-time World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena.
