Following reports that Miguel Ferrer will bid goodbye to "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8, the actor's name reportedly appeared in an obituary. Fans of the actor have been worried since the news broke especially since he has been rumored to be suffering from various health problems.
According to BaltimoreSun, authorities revealed that a certain Miguel Ferrer hanged himself in the storage room of a store. However, it seems like the Miguel Ferrer who reportedly committed suicide was not the actor from "NCIS: Los Angeles." Apparently, the said person was the owner of a popular Canton running store. Miguel Ferrer's Impending Exit To "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 Due To His Health Condition?
Over the past few weeks, the 61-year-old actor has been rumored to be suffering from health problems. Rumors suggest that Miguel Ferrer suffered a stroke on the set of "NCIS: Los Angeles." This led to speculations that the actor will have his untimely departure from the show.
Miguel Ferrer is not new to rumors like this. In fact, the actor was also rumored to be diagnosed with cancer and that his participation with the Alliance for Aging Research for Colon Cancer is in connection with his condition.
However, it was clarified that the actor began helping the program to educate caregivers and cancer patients about the importance of being involved when making medical decisions. Apparently, the actor's father, Jose Ferrer, died from colon cancer in 1992 while his mother passed away due to lung cancer in 2001. With this, it is quite understandable for him to get involved in the said organization.
So far, Miguel Ferrer continues to appear in the series. It remains unclear if his character, Owen Granger, will be killed off as rumors suggest. "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 airs every Sunday on CBS at 9 p.m.
