Slowly but surely should be the way Do Hyun Woo (Lee Sun Kyun) and Jung Soo Yeon (Song Ji Hyo) work out their situation. Hyun Woo missed his timing once again and pushed Soo Yeon away instead of making up with her. Soo Yeon will continue to comment anonymously on Toycrane's SNS posts in "My Wife Is Having an Affair This Week" episode 9. Could this be the way to repair their relationship? Meanwhile, An Joon Young's (Lee Sang Yeob ) and Kwon Bo Young (BoA) will get closer while Eun Ah Ra (Ye Ji Won) will drown herself in the sea.
In "My Wife Is Having an Affair This Week" episode 8, things got more complicated when Hyun Woo and Soo Yeon's son, Do Joon Soo (Kim Kang Hoon) went missing. He got hit by a motorcycle and was taken to the hospital. In the heat of the events, Hyun Woo lashed out at Soo Yeon saying it was her fault and she has no right to see Joon Soo. However, while in the hospital bed, Joon Soo told his father how his mother is suffering, that she has to work even while he's sleeping and gets nosebleed. Joon Soo asked him what divorce means, saying his mother is suffering because of it and that his father should protect her. I can't believe how even the child knows better than his father.
Hyun Woo realized what he has done but it's too late; he missed his timing again with his anger. I was pretty sure when Joon Soo was gone missing the two will get close again as Soo Yeon called Hyun Woo familiarly as her husband while crying. Soo Yeon read the whole of Toycrane's (Hyun Woo's SNS username) post as per Joon Young's advice and felt the sincerity in her husband's posts. However, she commented anonymously to the post that she thinks Toycrane's wife also felt his sincerity but his wife won't be coming back anymore because she won't be able to forgive herself.
In this week's episodes, Kim Hee Won's (Choi Yoon Gi) wife, Ah Ra will commit suicide. In "My Wife Is Having an Affair This Week" episode 9 preview, there is a scene where she is walking to the sea to drown herself and then there is only her pair of shoes left on the shore. The next scene also shows a funeral which further confirms she might die in the next episode. Ah Ra had been seeing hints of her husband's affair in the previous episodes but my perception of her character is not that weak so I can't believe she will actually kill herself. Maybe she's just faking it and will return to have revenge on his husband -- "Temptation of Wife" style.
It seems like Joon Young and Bo Young will get closer. The two will take care of Joon Soo together and the air between them seems rather romantic as they continue chatting while the kid is sleeping. I've been cheering for them ever since Joon Young's supposed wife ran away, and they really look good together.
Meanwhile, Hyun Woo and Soo Yeon are still not on good terms. They will go to the funeral separately but their outfits look noticeably similar, earning some comments. They better rebuild their relationship slowly than rush it because I'm sure Hyun Woo's temper will ruin what's little left of their relationship. Soo Yeon on her part will face difficulties at work. She will also continue to comment on Toycrane's post anonymously.
