Doraemon Upcoming Movie: China Adoptation; Had A Live-Action Film Ready

Doraemon's origin roots back to the creator Fujiko Fujio's manga that had its first release in Japan. So, everyone assumed that if its origin was from Japan, then it would be fitting enough for a Doraemon Movie to be made and produced by a Japanese corporation. To my surprise, China had a live-action film ready and planned all along.

According to a report from Orzzz, China is making a live-action Doraemon film long ago when it was already at its peak of popularity. The movie poster shows the Chinese cast, including Nobita and the gang, all grown up and still wearing their traditional anime outfits. But what fascinated the most is the re-imagined Doraemon is a real cat.

Instead of being the lovable, smart, and funny blue cat robot that we all know and love in the TV series, Doraemon is a real-life grey and white colored cat that wears the same red collar with a golden knitted bell on aside from this, there would probably be more alterations from the original Doraemon version.

Can It Captures Fans Attention With There Movie Version?

The Chinese title for the Doraemon movie is "Bài tuō la xiǎo dīngdāng," and it will be based on the original manga by Fujiko Fujio. But as the posters show, there would be more revisions, re-inventions, and more adventure in store for us in this movie.

The story is probably local or might be space theme about Nobita and his friends. Now they are all grown up, but they could still be up to their usual brainstorming adventures. Along with their alien friend, more surprises await them along their journey. Then how a real cat carry a pouch that has so many items then?

Of course, fans as they all know now that there will be an upcoming Doraemon movie from China, have mixed emotions with the said movie. Well, who could blame them? We can't expect that the creator itself will have an idea to move the TV series to big screens. Just like Dragon Ball Evolution Movie, everybody was shock for an American version release. Even though there's Chow Yun Fat as Master Roshi expectation of all was devastated. For me that was technically worst film adaptation.

Regardless of who have in mind to film Doraemon movie, it would still be an interesting thing to watch, especially now that we could see how Nobita and the others what are they up to as they grow up.
