Galaxy Note 8.0 vs. Galaxy Note 3: Samsung Siblings Face-Off

Samsung took the wraps off its much-awaited Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013 in Barcelona.

The 8-inch tablet from Samsung is pitted as the iPad mini killer and is widely expected to give stiff competition to other tablets in the 7-inch space. What's more, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also packs in calling functionality and doubles as a smartphone.

Samsung is also rumored to have the successor to its Galaxy Note 2 phablet, the Galaxy Note 3, in the pipeline. The Galaxy Note 3 is speculated to feature a colossal 6.3-inch display, putting it in nearly the same league as the 7-inch tablets.
