"Supergirl" season 2 episode 8 is going to be a Thanksgiving special but it is not the regular holiday celebration that everyone has been expecting. The Danvers dinner is quite a lively affair as Alex (Chyler Leight) is looking for the best time to tell her mom Eliza (Helen Slater) about her preferences. James (Mehcad Brooks) and Winn (Jeremy Jordan) are debating whether they should tell Kara about the Guardian. To round up all the secrets, Eliza suggests that Mon-El (Chris Wood) has a thing for Kara.
Cyborg Superman And Project Medusa
"Supergirl" season 2, episode 7 ended with Cyber Superman trying to retrieve Project Medusa. Medusa is a virus created by Lillian who wants to eliminate all the aliens on earth since she perceives all of them as a threat. After Lux was imprisoned, she was blinded by her feelings and she wants to reap all non-humans. Given the gravity of the situation, Kara will need Lena's help.
While Lena may not be high on her list of allies, she has no choice but to call on her for help. After all, her mother is the one who plans to exterminate all non-human life forms in the planet, Kara included.
"Arrow," "The Flash," Supergirl," And "Legends Of Tomorrow" Crossover
In "Supergirl" season 2, episode 8, Kara's adventures will not end with Thanksgiving and putting an end to project Medusa. Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) will also enlist Supergirl's help in fighting an alien invasion which is threatening the planet. This episode will kickstart the four night crossover in the network.
