Messi and the ribbon hairclip did its magic. Kim Bok Joo (Lee Sung Kyung) will go on a date with her obesity doctor, Jung Jae Yi (Lee Jae Yoon) on "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" episode 5. Did Jae Yi break his rule of not falling in love with his patients or did Bok Joo ask this from him after her successful weight loss? It also seems like Bok Joo has something to confess to him in the upcoming episode.
In "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" episode 4, both Jung Joon Hyung (Nam Joo Hyuk) and Bok Joo were surprised to see each other at Jae Yi's clinic. Bok Joo learned that Joon Hyung and Jae Yi are brothers but it seems like she would be able to stop Joon Hyung from telling about her identity to Jae Yi -- for now.
The preview for "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" episode 5 shows Jae Yi introducing Bok Joo to Joon Hyung as the cellist he was talking about the other day. Bok Joo lied to him that she is a cello student from a music college instead of an athlete from a college weightlifting team, and Joon Hyung will go along with her lie.
However, Joon Hyung will use her secret to bully her. The preview shows a scene where the three are on a dinner date and Joon Hyung will remark that Bok Joo's arms look like an athlete's in front of Jae Yi. She would also become his slave in school where he would order her around during lunch much to their friends' bewilderment. Even Jung Nan Hee (Jo Hye Jung) will ask if something happened between her and Joon Hyung.
Will Joon Hyung finally realize he has feelings for his childhood friend? The preview also shows Joon Hyung confronting Bok Joo about his brother. Bok Joo will say, "I'm sorry for liking your brother." He will angrily ask her, "Do you like my brother that much?" and what on earth does she like about his brother. Meanwhile, Jae Yi's likely love interest Dr. Go Ah Young (Yoo Da In) will also ask if Jae Yi is dating someone.
Bok Joo might also confess to Jae Yi in "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" episode 5. But what will she confess? Is it her real identity or that she actually likes him? In the preview we heard Bok Joo saying, "Today is D-Day." Then while the two of them are in the car, Bok Joo will attempt a conversation.
In the meantime, Bok Joo will be facing a problem as a weightlifter. Her coaches are thinking of moving her into a higher weight class and even talked about it with her father. As it is, she is already being treated roughly by guys due to her built so I think she might not react positively to this one. She was actually trying to lose some weight although it is somehow just an excuse to visit Jae Yi's clinic.
