Cubone has always been a favorite by most players in every Pokemon game, especially now in ‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’ with the new Alolan Marowak. The new evolved Alolan Marowak doesn’t just come with any bone but one that has fire light on both ends. It has definitely made an amazing upgrade from the regular Marowak so it's not surprising its considered as a rare Pokemon. Fortunately, players need not have a hard time finding it because this guide will help them through locating and catching them.
Where to Find and Catch Cubone in ‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’?
Cubone can be found in Wela Volcano Park in Akala Island. Players can reach this area by going through Route 7 which leads to the entrance of the volcano. This area also happens to be where players battle with Kiawe which is one of the major trials in Akala Island. Players can choose to battle with Kiawe first or after catching Cubone. Just make sure to choose the right party whichever task the player wants to do first.
When catching Cubone, players can either use a low-level Pokemon or a Pokemon with the False Swipe move. False Swipe only decreases wild Cubone’s health by 1 giving the player enough tries to catch it. And as a bonus tip, players can discover another TM, Rock Tomb, in this area if they go south and find a ramp.
How to Evolve Cubone to Alolan Marowak in ‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’?
After catching Cubone, players will need to increase its level up to 28 and maximize its happiness. Then just wait for night to come in the game, which is night time too in real life for ‘Pokemon Sun’ players while daytime for ‘Pokemon Moon’ players, before evolving Cubone. Keep in mind that both games are set to be 12 hours apart from each other.
