HTC One, BlackBerry Z10 And Samsung Galaxy S4 Mimic iPhone 5 Design And More

It seems that more and more smartphone companies are beginning to try and mirror the look of Apple's smartphones and features in hopes that mirroring the popular device, it will attract users who are looking for a smartphone that has the same quality and look as Apple's iPhone 5, but in Android and BlackBerry offerings.

When BlackBerry unveiled the BlackBerry Z10 at a launch event in January many thought BlackBerry's Z10 had a striking resemblance to Apple's iPhone 5. BlackBerry's first BlackBerry 10 smartphone does share a similar look to Apple's iPhone 5. It appears that BlackBerry used some iPhone 5 inspirations when it came to the design of the smartphone. It also comes in the now ubiquitous black or white option Apple pioneered.

That's not the only smartphone recently announced to follow Apple's iPhone 5 design checklist. HTC is offering the same black and white color choices. The HTC One also comes in black and white aluminum unibody cases like the iPhone 5.

A new report states that Samsung will be the next maker to join this "design like Apple" party. Samsung is reportedly planning on offering its upcoming flagship Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone with some iPhone 5 inspiration when it gets unveiled on March 14 at an event Samsung is holding in New York City. According to a new report Samsung will offer the Galaxy S4 in the same color and storage options that Apple currently offers with the iPhone 5. Apparently, Samsung plans on offering six variants of its upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4.

It seems that black and white are to the smartphone world, what beige was back in the day with PCs. It seems like companies want to offer their answer to the iPhone 5, even making it appear physically very similar to Apple's smartphone. If you're looking for color check out a Cyan Nokia Lumia 920 to brighten your world, or put up with black and white being the new colors of choice.
