There are six more months before "Game of Thrones" season 7 but fans were given a first sneak peek of the much-awaited series. On Sunday. Nov. 27, HBO aired a teaser of the newest installment of the fantasy drama on its programing preview for 2017. It is not uploaded online yet but here are what fans could gather from the clip featuring the Stark siblings.
The teaser shows Sansa in Winterfell with a weirwood tree behind her. With the shocked look on her face there are speculations that she will be reunited with Arya. Meanwhile, Jon was also shown in a conversation with Sansa. The most thrilling part of the preview was the youngest sister of the Stark siblings, Arya, who was shown while riding a horse. Fans are speculating she is speeding on her way back to Winterfell after a long time.
In a previous report, it was also revealed that Bran's powers will grow even more in "Game of Thrones" season 7. He will be trained by the Three-Eyed Raven and with his powers, he will be able to see what happened in the past as well as what will happen in the future. Will the Stark siblings finally be able to restore the reputation of their House?
Meanwhile, HBO programming director Casey Bloys said the network is still in talks with George R.R. Martin about a possible spin-off, probably a prequel, of the award-winning series or maybe a movie featuring the couples in the series. "I would say it's still kind of preliminary ongoing talks. There are areas we are exploring, but I wouldn't point to any one and say, 'This is what we're going to do,'" Bloys said, according to Entertainment Weekly.
"Game of Thrones" season 7 will air in summer 2017 while the last installment (season 8) with six episodes is confirmed for release in 2018.
