Fans of Bandai Namco's latest title Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 are in for a huge treat. The studio is set to release a brand new content next month, just in time for the Holiday season. The developer also announced the exact release window of the DLC. And yes, there are exciting things to look forward to.
Reports suggest that the latest DLC arriving to the sequel will drop come December 20. It's believed to introduce a couple of exclusive items, one of which will require players to own a Season Pass. The good thing, though, is that they'll have the option to purchase the items individually.
Part of the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 content is a new set of challenges, giving players something to put their attention and focus into. Moreover, Son Goku will be equipped with new skills and attacks, though these have yet to be specified.
As stated in the game's official website, characters will also be given new costumes. Players will be given a total of 5 Super Souls, too. New Parallel Quests are also expected to be included. It's worth noting that the DLC will offer five new attacks, though, as mentioned above, these can be acquired individually (with the Season Pass being an exception).
In terms of new characters, the forthcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC will be introducing a total of 2. These are namely Cabbe and Frost. The two characters are said to be playable as soon as the Yuletide season starts. Not just that -- their final forms are included, too. Frost, in particular, will wear its most powerful state yet; Cabbe, on the other hand, will feature its Super Saiyan ability. And yes, both of these are going to be available.
Overall, the hit title from Bandai Namco will offer a total of four DLC contents. The other three, though not exact release window, will be made known come 2017. And as expected, new characters and/or features are to be unleashed. The upcoming expansion is going to be available to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
