Fans "Lucifer" Season 2 might be disappointed to know that episode 11 of the series will not be airing on its scheduled timeslot, Monday, December 5. Apparently, the series will be taking a month-long hiatus due to undisclosed reasons.
According to reports, "Lucifer" Season 2 Episode 11 titled "Stewardess Interrupts" will not be airing next week. The said episode will be postponed and is expected to resume on January 16, 2017. This came as a surprise to its fans considering the twists left in the last episode.
The reason behind the abrupt hiatus of "Lucifer" Season 2 remains unclear as no official explanation has been released yet. However, it is believed that the sudden month-long break is in line with the show's winter break which will last through the month of December.
There were also claims that the said hiatus was due to last episode's poor ratings and evaluation. According to reports, many find the climax and cliffhanger of "Lucifer" Season 2 Episode 10 rather underwhelming. However, there was no proof to justify the said claims.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that the station will be making reruns of the series every week until "Lucifer" Season 2 returns on January 16, 2017. However, based on the TV Guide's listings, no reruns will take place. Instead, "Lucifer" Season 2's timeslot will be occupied by a special airing of "Showtime At The Apollo" which features talented performers.
So far, there has been no official synopsis released for "Lucifer" Season 2 Episode 11. Still, the series teased the upcoming episode with a trailer video. In the said clip, Charlotte can be seen telling Maze that Chloe is a "miracle baby" made by God. At one point, Charlotte tells Chloe that she is different and that her son, Lucifer is also different when he is with her. At the end of the trailer, Chloe tells Lucifer that something is not right. She starts bleeding and it seems like it won't stop.
