There will be an upcoming DC movie Justice League however still far from hitting the big screen. But, as early as now, plots are already speculating about who could be the villains in the film. Rumor has it that the recently aired Suicide Squad cast will be the one to cause conflicts in the upcoming movie and their casting will be formally announced this December. You might wonder why?
A lot of fans are waiting to see their favorite superheroes going up against elite rouges in the DC Universe. Now, there are claims that the heroes of the Justice League will be dealing with the Suicide Squad in their movie next year. Although it would really be interesting to see them fight each other, their battle would not be included in the 2017 movie.
New Cast, New Storyline, Rebirth Of The DC Comics Villains
First, it is true that the Justice League will go up against the Suicide Squad. But, it would not be in the film. Instead, their showdown will take place in the new six-part comic book titled Justice League vs. Justice League. Also, aside from these two teams battling, there are other villains that will cause trouble in the new storyline.
Per IGN, there is a third group is yet to be named but they will co-exist in the new comic book. The villain Maxwell Lord will lead the team. The character was known for taking over the world in 2005's Infinite Crisis. He controlled Superman's mind which forced Wonder Woman to break the villain's neck and kill him.
Also, Emerald Empress, Rustam, Doctor Polaris, Lobo and Johnny Sorrow will be included in the team. Now, do not be surprised if you do not know any of these characters. These are classic villains that DC is going to re-introduce as part of their Rebirth initiative. The new comic book series will be released in December 2016 and will have a weekly shipping schedule.
Meanwhile, there are no specific information yet about the villains in the Justice League 2017 movie. Also, the Suicide Squad is not confirmed to appear in the film either.
