Hi-Rez Studios has recently announced the details for the upcoming OB39 update on their first-person shooter action game Paladins: Champions of the Realm. This is the latest patch from the game which is expected to arrive tomorrow. OB39 patch highlights a new skin for champion Evie. In addition, the upcoming patch also includes skin additions for several champions, some tweaks on the founder's pack, hero balancing, some bug fixes and more.
According to the post from Paladins Official Reddit, the Founder's pack will now contain 10 additional Radiant Chests and all Standard Voice Packs. As reported, this new tweak on the Founder's Pack will be automatically applied to those players who previously purchased the bundle. Additionally, players who are using boosters will receive a special bonus granting them 5 crystals and 200 Gold for claiming daily login reward.
Based on the report, several heroes like Kinessa, Androxus, Barik, Sha Lin, Grover, Makoa, Pip and Evie will receive new cosmetics prior to the upcoming winter season. These new Christmas-themed skins will be available on the new loot chest called Festive Chest. It will be officially added when OB39 patch arrives. This reported Festive Chest will work similar to the existing Colossal Chest which can be purchased with a reasonable price.
Additionally, Ying will receive a special twitch weapon skin. To acquire the skin, players will just have to link both of their Twitch and Hi-Rez accounts. The OB39 patch notes also mentioned that the Ice Mines map will undergo a visual update. Meanwhile, there are also notable buffs, nerfs and bug fixes to some champions present in the realm.
The fan-favorite turtle champion Makoa will receive a buff. Both of his cannons and Ancient Rage damage will be increased from 600 to 650. On the other hand, one of the top tier pick, Evie, will be nerfed big time. Her Wormhole card will be decreased from 2/4/6/8 to 1/2/3/4.
