Afterwards, check on your TV and it will state that the display shows "four boys walking down a set of railroad tracks. This is actually a reference to the same scene in Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow.

The renowned voice actress of Pikachu, Ikue Ōtani is actually in the game! You can find her by simply going into the cemetery in Route 2. In here, you can find a lady where she says "The grave where Pikachu rests." You can battle with this person and you'll realize that she only has a Pikachu on his team. Once you beat her, she says Pika..

IGN Review of Pokémon X and Y

Another cool Easter Eggs in Sun and Moon s is the reference to IGN's review on Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire where the critiqued was "Too much water" and then rates the game 7.8 out of 10. In Pokémon Sun and Moon, if you take a picture of Wingull or Corsola, one of the comments you'll receive is "7.8 out of 10 too much water!" Nintendo sure loves to troll!

Finding Ash Ketchum

Another Easter Egg in Sun and Moon is Ash Ketchum. The main character of Pokémon anime and manga is actually in the game which can be found way back when you're doing the Ghost Trial. If you can remember, before you battle against Mimikyu, you're going to look for its picture first. Alongside these pictures, you can find a snapshot of Ash together with Pikachu on his shoulder. Maxx has shown a clear picture of ash which can be seen in the video down below.

Team Rocket In Generation 1

A cool Easter Egg is the reference to the original Team Rocket way back in Generation 1. If you head back to Malie Garden, you'll come across five trainers on the bridge which you can then battle. This is actually a reference to the Nugget Bridge in Route 24 of northern Kanto. What's even more interesting is the fact that they're using the exact same Pokémon from the original ones. And just like in Gen 1 where you'll be rewarded with a Nugget after beating all of the trainers, here, you'll be rewarded with a Big Nugget in return. The veteran even talks about Mr. Giovanni, the head of Team Rocket that time and the only character in the game to be labeled as Trainer Class Boss.
