'Big Brother: Over The Top' Finale: Morgan Wins With A Difference Of Less Than 20,000 Votes

The first ever "Big Brother: Over the Top" winner was finally crowned on Thursday, Dec. 1. After a 65-day battle, Morgan Willet from Austin Texas emerged as winner among 13 candidates. Big Brother season 17 returnee Jason Roy was runner-up while Kryssie Ridolfi who was not voted by any of the evicted HouseGuests came in third.

Program host Julie Chen commented it is one of the closest battles in Big Brother history. Morgan edged out Jason with only less than 20,000 votes, according to TVGuide. Shelby, Alex, Cornbread, Monte and Scott revealed they voted for Morgan while Jason got four votes from Shane, Danielle, Neeley and Whitney. Justin, who didn't get to vote diplomatically, said he would have voted for all three finalists.

Before the finale night, one of Morgan's closest allies, Shelby explained why Morgan should win the reality show. "She has a lot of reasons why she should win. She was the underdog," Shelby said to Hollywood Reporter. Morgan was one of the most nominated HouseGuests in "Big Brother: Over the Top" with a total of five nominations.

"She won combo comps that were physical and mental, she was loyal to her alliance even when we were so outnumbered. She's played a really good game," she added. Shelby also said that everyone overlooked her as though she wasn't even in the game and then she got on the final three.

Morgan took home the grand prize of $250,000, while Jason, who won the most competitions among any other HouseGuest in "Big Brother: Over The Top" with a total of five wins (two Head of Household and three Power of Veto wins, excluding the co-HoH gifted by America), won $25,000. It is the second consecutive season that a female emerged as winner in "Big Brother." Nicole Franzel won against Paul Abrahamian in a 5-4 vote in season 18.
