"Naruto Shippuden" episode 484 which was aired on Dec. 1 marked the start of Sasuke's journey. After seeing the detonating men in action and realizing that the cause was Kekkei Genkai, Sasuke attempts to look for more clues to know who is behind the incidents in Hidden Leaf. In episode 485, he will continue his journey to find who is behind the exploding humans.

In the final seconds of "Naruto Shippuden," Sasuke looked inside the memories of one of the detonating humans which made him realize that Kekkei Genkai was used. In episode 485, he will meet Yamato who will lead him to the conclusion that he needs to look for Orochimaru.
Based on the current happenings, Orochimaru would be the best person to approach if he wants the information that could link all the victims. Sasuke will set out to look for Orochimaru and to gain the information that he needs, he would have to win a tournament.
"Naruto Shippuden" Novel Adaptation Arc
After "Naruto" ended, the anime focused on boyhood arcs and now on the stories from the novels based on "Naruto's" characters. The first anime adaptation was based on Sasuke's Story and it is scheduled to run for the entire month of December. The next story which is based on Shikamaru's tale will start airing in January while the last novel based on Naruto, Konoha Hiden: Shūgen Biyori will start airing in February.
After the end of the anime episodes based on the Naruto novels, there is no news on how the story will proceed. However, many fans are hoping that by March the Boruto arc will start. After news broke that the Boruto arc has already been confirmed during the Jump Festa in Tokyo, there were high hopes that it will follow the last episode based on the Shō Hinata's novel about Konoha. At the moment, however, there is no official announcement as to when the Boruto arc will air but hopefully more information will be available soon.
"Naruto Shippuden" episode 485 will air on Thursday, Dec. 8.
