Meizu Pro 6 Plus: First Impression Review

The Meizu Pro 6 Plus was just announced last November and is expected to be released this December. Its price tag is said to be Rs. 29,900 ($440).Before we talk about its specs and features, let's talk about the source first.

The Source. A YouTube channel was lucky enough to get the Meizu Pro 6 Plus before its release. On the video, they presented a "first look" review about the device and promised to upload another video talking about its full specs, features, and performance. For now, here is what the video had to say:

The Design. The Meizu Pro 6 Plus' design is elegant and very thin. Its metal case is made of aluminum and comes in gold, silver and gray color casings. The device features two antennas. Though its body dimensions are 155.6 x 77.3 x 7.3 mm, it is quite easy on the hands - one thing that all Meizu phones share in common.

On its right side, the volume and power button is located. On its left side, it has a notification light indicator. Located below is a loudspeaker, Type-C USB type, microphone and a 3.5mm jack. On the front, it features a 5.7-inch screen.

The Display. : AMOLED screen

The Platform. The Meizu Pro 6 Plus used in the video was a 64GB model with 4GB RAM running on Android 6.0.1, Flyme 5.2.7.0. Its chipset is the Exynos 8890, the same chipset featured in the Samsung Galaxy S7. For its card slot, it doesn't feature a MicroSD, but has 2 slots for SIM cards.

The Audio. Based on the source, the Meizu Pro 6 Plus is said to sound better when compared to the Nexus 5X. The source also claimed that its audio performance is also better and louder than the Galaxy S7. Aside from that, there was nothing else mentioned.

Camera. Its front camera is 5 MP. The rear camera is 12 MP. It is said that the Meizu Pro 6 Plus cameras are able to shoot in 4k format.
