Just this weekend, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite was unveiled at the PlayStation Experience. A day after its release, news about it have already circulated. The extended Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite gameplay trailer showed Captain America and Morrigan from Darkstalkers to the fray.
The trailer also showed Infinity stone abilities during gameplay. The use of the Power Stone has certainly made Ryu significantly more powerful than before. Captain Marvel, at the same time, made use of a Time Stone to execute faster and elusive attacks. However, its use in the Marvel vs Capcom: Infintite is not made clear yet.
It can be noted that the fighting scenes is slightly controlled as compared to the previous game. However, this is just the early part of Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite. The game will be released in the late part of 2017 in PC, Xbox One, and PS4 yet Capcom has already giving many hints about such. Marvel vs Capcom has added two more characters of the game, and they have made it clear through their announcement on ESPN 2 during the Capcom Cup 2016 broadcast. Along with the announcement, it has also released an extended version of the first Infinite gameplay trailer. The four characters that were already confirmed are Ryu, Mega Man X, Iron Man, and Captain Marvel, according to VG247.
According to Marvel Entertainment executive producer Mike Jones, Marvel vs Capcom is by far one of the most celebrated franchises within the last two decades. In order to continue this legacy, they have closely-partnered with Capcom in order to produce a game that will justify the heritage of the series, as well as proving Capcom's recognizable world-class gameplay. Players are already excited for the release of the Marvel vs Capcom next year.
