Dead Rising 4 Review: What Makes The Game Better Its Predecessor?

Dead Rising 4 was just released and players are going crazy about it. The game is considered to be the best installment of the Dead Rising franchise. What exactly makes it more appealing than the titles before it?

Dead Rising 4 Is Better Than Its Predecessor

Fans are happy with the newly released games this week. One of them is Dead Rising 4. The players love the Christmas theme of the game. Also, they enjoy being attacked by the zombies. These are some of the reasons why the game is the best among the franchise, according to Digital Trends.

The players love that Frank West will be returning to Willamette, Colorado. The story of Dead Rising 4 offers the players the chance to play in the mall because that is where the first Dead Rising game revolved. Even Black Friday was involved in the story.

Dead Rising 4 will not have a required time to finish a certain mission that was considered by the players irritating. Players are really happy that Capcom has removed the timer in the latest installment. Dead Rising 3 has the timer that certainly affected how players reacted to the game.

Frank can access all the blueprints in Dead Rising 4 and it is a good news for the players. Also, the weapons are simpler and easier to be used compared to the ones in the previous installments. The vehicles are noticeably more efficient than before.

What Are The Problems In Dead Rising 4?

As per GQ, Dead Rising 4 might be one of the popular releases but due to technical problems faced by the players, it seems that the game is not as exciting as what they have imagined. Not only do players have to face zombies, they also have to deal with numerous bugs.

Some of the missions in Dead Rising 4 are boring, per users' opinion. The reason is that players noticed the missions having the same endings. Also, the issues regarding stuck vehicles, Frank being immobile for a few seconds and a super boss that regenerates health are just some of the main concerns of the players.

Perhaps the biggest issue is that once the player has finished Dead Rising 4' short story mode, he cannot go back to the original world of the game. Also, he cannot finish the sidequests he failed to do while playing the main story. He does not have a chance in retrieving new blueprints, too.

All the games have their good and bad sides. Dead Rising 4 is no exception, but players can hope that the experience it will bring is worth all the nuisances of the game.
