As the release of the 2nd season is coming nearer, recent reports told that the show maintained its well-loved cast members but also added new characters that would surely keep the series fun and exciting. According to Inquisitr, no release date has been announced yet but it is revealed that the second season would be aired same time as the first next year, 2017.
On the last episodes of the 1st season, it was believed that Eleven already defeated the monster from the Upside-Down world which made her disappear. It has never been cleared if the character is already dead or not. On the other hand, some speculated that the actions of Detective Hopper are clear indicators that Eleven is still alive.
Viewers should look forward to see Will Byers, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, and Gaten Matarazzo coming back for the Season 2 of the show. They are all set to answer left questions in the previous installment. Many were also excited to see additional characters who would play a huge part in the story. Some celebrities that were revealed forming part of the series are Sean Astin, Paul Reiser and Linnea Berthelsen.
